Community Paediatric/ disability Physiotherapist
Live & Work in the outback - Darwin

TaylorCare has an exciting new position for an early childhood Physiotherapy (aged birth to 7) that will assist children with significant delays across three or more of their development.
The role will include physiotherapy interventions for a wide range of neurodevelopmental conditions, and to work collaboratively with families, occupational therapists, psychologists, speech pathologists and childcare/ schools to support development.
Skills and attributes of this role: • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for a wide range of neurodevelopmental conditions including cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, epilepsy, spinal muscular atrophy, genetic and metabolic conditions, autism spectrum disorder and various syndromes • Able to utilise appropriate equipment e.g. splints and assistive devices • Maintain up to date accurate documentation and clinical notes
To be eligible to apply for this role you will need the following: • Tertiary level qualification in physiotherapy • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) • Minimum 2 years experience working in a Paediatric Physiotherapy setting • Experience working with children and families • Current NT drivers license (or ability to obtain one) • Current first aid certificate (or ability to obtain one) • Current NT working with children check- OCHRE card (or ability to obtain one) • Registration as an Approved Prescriber with the Northern Territory Disability Equipment Program (or ability to obtain).
