Purpose of the Role

The Clinical Nurse Consultant is a Registered Nurse who is accountable at an advanced practice level to support the delivery of evidence based health services in partnership with children, young people and families within the Community Child Youth and Family Health team (CCYFH).

The Clinical Nurse Consultant will contribute at a leadership level in supporting universal and targeted services with an emphasis on quality, cost effective, client-centred care in a multi-disciplinary environment.

It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (chicken pox), Pertussis (whooping cough) and Hepatitis B.
