Client Services Manager-RISK F...



Our client is a well-established Accounting/Financial Planning firm with a focus on delivering holistic advice to their clients. They are a fantastic modern and fast paced firm to work for. Due to growth, they have identified the need for a strong Client Services Manager to join their team to take responsibility for the client service administration of a portfolio of high net wealth clients, particularly across the risk space.




This role involves supporting a number of advisers and would suit a driven and enthusiastic individual with an understanding of the Financial Planning process and key client contact experience.


Key Responsibilities


Client Service


• Delivering exceptional client service to clients of the firm
• Building relationships and developing rapport with clients
• Acting as the key professional contact for all client telephone and email queries and responding proactively within agreed time frames
• Meeting with clients during review meetings and at events


Administration


• Proactive administrative support to financial planners
• Scheduling client appointments
• Vetting client review documents to ensure adherence with quality standards
• Processing client insurance applications
• Liaising with underwriters
• Processing insurance claims
• Collation of research as required
• Preparing portfolio reports
• Preparing and saving of file notes
• Drafting client emails for financial planners
• Allocating tasks and threads via Xplan
• Managing the integrity of information within the client database
• Preparing client applications and paperwork using high attention to detail
• Execution of share trades
• Scanning and filing as required
• Undertaking administrative duties across other parts of the financial services division where required


Compliance


• Maintaining of electronic client files to ensure compliance standards are met
• Preparing client service agreements
• Preparing and delivering fee disclosure (FDS) statements within set timeframes
• Preparing record of advice (ROA) documents
• Preparing various client correspondence including introductory letters, engagement letters and welcome letters
• Timely implementation of client advice


Knowledge, IT Systems and Software


• Experienced in the use of the following:
Xplan (preferred) and Microsoft Office suite
• Seek to continually improve upon current knowledge and to stay abreast of changing industry and compliance standards
• Seek to continually improve skill base for all relevant software and investment and insurance platforms

Preferred Qualifications and Experience


• Diploma in Financial Services (RG146) or equivalent tertiary qualifications preferred
• Experience in Xplan software is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role within a professional service firm is preferred and will be highly advantageous
