About the role – Are you ready?

As an experienced Client Delivery Associate/ Service Management Officer   (SMO/ CDA) you'll be responsible for providing superior, dedicated customer service and support to our Federal Government clients. You'll have a pro-active approach to customer management to ensure identification of issues and provision of solutions, prior to customer enquiries.


A high level of autonomy and responsibility is expected, together with an independent working relationship with key service support staff, as well as high levels of personal and business communication and strong organisational skills. As the SMO, you will act as a first level escalation point to drive customer issues back into Optus, using defined escalation paths and basic incident resolution processes.


About you. What makes you perfect for this role?

Before you call/apply please be aware that this role involves work for the Australian Government and will potentially have access to classified information/resources. As such, a security clearance is required and therefore it is a requirement that the successful candidate be an Australian Citizen.


As an experienced CDA/ SMO you will have demonstrable experience of fulfilling customer needs and delivering real business value to high value corporate or Government customers. You’ll also understand the drivers of customer satisfaction and service account management, allowing you to perform data entry and troubleshooting, with exceptionally high levels of accuracy across different processes and systems.


Your current experience may be across a variety of customer service, sales or Telco/ ICT industries, but you’ll have a strong desire to move into an ICT Managed Services career path.
