Chef de Partie

We are on the hunt for an ambitious Chef de Partie for our new restaurant in South Yarra. The successful and passionate candidate will enjoy excellent work life balance.

Our established café in Armadale - Mammoth known to push the boundaries with it’s menu yet still offers brunch classics, whilst our newly opened pizza restaurant in Northcote – Primo offers a modern twist on the traditional trattoria.
We are on a mission to bring together industry professionals who are after an exciting challenge in South Yarra.
The successful applicant will report to the Sous Chef and together with the team be responsible for the hands-on, smooth running and success of the kitchen.
We are looking to train a candidate in culinary skills with a view of a potential long term career with the company.
If you feel you are:

Passionate about food and hospitality
Hardworking and have the ability to work in a fast pace environment
Have a minimum 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen experience with a wood fired oven preferrable.
Positive orientation with an eye for detail
Ability to work in a team environment with excellent communication skills essential
Able to work under pressure in fast paced and high volume kitchen
Passionate industry professional
Time management skills
Knowledge of Italian and European cuisine
Flexible roster over 7 day week
