The Mental Health Services within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) consists of a range of multidisciplinary teams providing acute, community and rehabilitation services to youth, adults and older people. Our recovery-focused services aim to strengthen personal resilience and enable community tenure to be sustainable. As a Social Worker, you will undertake psychosocial and mental health assessments, care coordination, and be responsible for the delivery of a range of other clinical activities, including care planning, clinical review and social work intervention services. You will liaise closely with a network of key stakeholders, including other mental health teams, primary care providers and other government and non-government organisations that support consumers with mental health concerns. You will hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers. With proven social work and mental health assessment skills, you will have sound experience in developing and maintaining therapeutic working relationships with mental health consumers, their families and carers. You will work well within a multidisciplinary team environment, undertaking care planning and monitoring of interventions for consumers with complex needs.
