The Role

We are seeking an experienced & patient-centred Grade 2 Cardiac Technologist to provide clinical services for inpatients and outpatients in our Cardiac Diagnostics department, Cath Lab & the Hybrid Theatre.

Reporting to our Nurse Unit Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Cardiac Diagnostic Services. This role includes providing ECG-based testing as well as all aspects of interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.

Key areas of focus for this role include:

  • Contributing to an exceptional patient–centred service
  • An active member of a true multi-disciplinary team centred on excellent clinical outcomes for patients
  • Assisting in the provision of teaching to students and other clinicians

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Be appropriately qualified with a relevant degree (essential)
  • Have recent experience in a similar role (essential)
  • Have excellent computer skills
  • Be able to conduct all aspects of ECG-based testing
  • Be flexible and passionate to meet patient needs
  • Be proactive and responsive to changing patient profiles and service demands
  • Be able to participate in rotating rosters, including some weekend shifts
