The Company

This well-established organisation works closely with a wide range of major brand and consumer product organisationsto provide their consumers with better products and services. This business has grown dramatically over the past few years and as a result, they are looking for a commercially savvy Business Development Manager to join their small, dynamic team.

The Opportunity

As Business Development Manager, you will be building and managing relationships with new and existing clients across Australia. As much as this role is about developing new business, it is also critical that you develop deep relationships with current clients.

You will utilise your strong B2B sales experience and commercial creativity to educate, engage and advise your clients with market insights and trends as part of the sales process. As this role is exposed to innovative consumer products, you have the opportunity to work closely with the research, marketing and digital teams to ensure the organisation stays ahead of the curve for its customers.

Your Experience

You have a minimum of five years recent B2B business development or product management experience. Ideally you will be working in the consumer product sector so an understanding and experience in consumer products, and strong brands as well as marketing would be advantageous.

You have a passion for building business relationships with the view of improving service delivery to the end consumer. You are a commercially savvy, energetic sales professional with exceptional communication skills, able to build rapport naturally with the ability to engage and sell to decision makers.
