Nine month contract role within Assurance and Operational Risk

Your new company
The Institutional division of one of the largest financial services companies in Sydney is looking for an experienced Assurance Manager to start a contract role in January 2018. Within this role, you will focus on assurance activities and operational risk management. This is one of Australia's leading financial services companies, offering an incredible opportunity for a candidate with assurance experience relevant to the financial markets and treasury business.

Your new role
You will assist with the overall strategy and approach to assurance in the division in line with 3 Lines of Defence Risk Management Framework and the divisional business strategy. You will ensure the Operational Risk Assurance plan is co-ordinated with other assurance teams and aligns with those of other divisions to minimise gaps and overlaps and provide end-to-end coverage across organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be CA/CPA qualified with a solid background in managing risk and compliance or assurance/controls reporting within a Financial Services environment including experience relevant to the financial markets and treasury business. You will have extensive business risk assurance and monitoring experience and can demonstrable experience formulating & delivering Operational Risk assurance.
