Associate Clinical Services Co...
You will provide specific support to the Clinical Service Coordinator in the leadership of nurses within the Quorn Health Service. Overseeing the provision of nursing care within the team, you will assess patients' needs and plan, implement and coordinate appropriate service delivery options whilst communicating changes in condition and care. This will be achieved by integrating advanced theoretical knowledge, evidence from a range of sources and your own experience to devise and achieve agreed patient care outcomes. Monitoring patient care plans, you will participate in clinical auditing and evaluative research to ensure appropriate patient care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis. Supporting and working collaboratively with less experienced members of the nursing team, you will maintain a learning culture by encouraging professional development and assisting others to maintain portfolios of learning. Quorn Health Service provides general medical and surgical care as well as obstetrics, theatre and a range of allied health services. We have residential facilities for older people in need of high and low levels of residential care services. Quorn is part of the Flinders Ranges Multipurpose Service providing residential aged care.
You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With prior experience in management and leadership roles, you will be capable of giving supervision to student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses. You will use your effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills to maintain a cohesive multidisciplinary team and resolve local or immediate nursing care problems.
