Out Federal Government client is seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant for a 6 month contract.

This busy division of a Federal Government Department is responsible for accessing services and tools by subsidising the cost of health-related goods and services through a range of different funding measures.
Your new role
Your new role as an APS4 Executive Assistant will see you supporting the Assistant Secretary on a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension.
The successful applicant will be required to provide high-level executive support services and play an important role in the effective management of the office and across the Division.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have excellent interpersonal, communication and coordination skills. You will be intuitive, strategic and always one step ahead. You will have experience establishing good relationships with stakeholders and staff, build wide and effective networks of contacts, and adapt your interpersonal style to suit different people or situations.
You will be an excellent multi-tasker, able to quickly adapt to new challenges and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates with previous Federal Government experience and exposure to PDMS are highly desirable. To be considered for this role you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
