Your new company
This Government organisation is seeking a high level Executive Assistant to provide support to the managing director. This is initially a six month opportunity with the view for long term appointment.
Your new role
As the Executive Assistant your primary function will be providing high level executive, project and administrative support to the Managing Director. This is a fast paced and varied position that will involve tasks such as extensive diary and travel management, preparation of agendas for meetings, client liaison and organising meetings and events. In addition to this you will also assist with some basic human resources and on boarding of new employees.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong administration background, including extensive Executive Assistant experience; have proven ability to work independently while being able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You must demonstrate high attention to detail and have excellent time management skills to ensure you can prioritise your workload effectively enabling you to meet several conflicting requirements. You will be highly motivated and proactive and have the ability to use your initiative. You will also have proven ability using the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using TRIM and SAP systems are not essential although highly beneficial
