The opportunity.

This role oversees the technical design, development and unit testing of the companies applications. It will be responsible for managing the pipeline for project development work as well as enhancement and maintenance work and will include front end, back-end, middle-ware and analytics technologies.
Key accountabilities.
  • Managing the end to end delivery of multiple small to medium projects including management and development of the program plan whilst ensuring that priorities are clear to both delivery teams and stakeholders
  • Providing technical consultation to business areas with a view to assisting with business thinking and definition of technology solutions
  • Driving change and improvement in our ways of working to deliver better, faster and cheaper
  • Working with key business stakeholders to ensure the most appropriate, cost effective and timely solutions are delivered
  • Ensuring a sound translation of business objectives into clear streams of work
  • Manage and assist a small collaborative team to ensure project management, systems architecture, business analysis, and third-tier support
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue and relationship with various business functional areas to identify information technology needs, requirements and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Analyze and document current processes, identify needs and pursue solutions to satisfy business requirements
  • Understand the flow of information/data through the business and related systems
The right person will have:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in application development
  • 2-3 years of project management experience and a track record of delivering on past projects
  • Experience applying Agile & Lean techniques.
  • Excellent presentations skills to technical and business audiences.
  • Proven ability to influence across broad teams and business areas along with strong negotiation skills.
  • A tertiary qualification or similar in Market/Business Management or Business IT along with Project Management qualifications
  • 2-3 years of Salesforce experience preferred
  • Exposure to web applications and mobile applications
  • Experience in integrating a multitude of systems
