ACFI Coordinator



A leading Not For Profit organisation that provides services to a range of clients in the community with a focus on improving lives and achieving positive outcomes. This group has multiple services across New South Wales both regional and metropolitan and has established themselves in the industry as a service that genuinely cares.


Our client is looking for an experienced ACFI Coordinator with a hands on approach to assist multiple sites with their ACFI claims and ACFI optimisation.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identify ACFI funding opportunities to achieve the best financial outcome

  • Prepare, Coordinate and Lodge ACFI submissions and claims ensuring compliance with regulations

  • Work closely and in conjunction with the management team, care services teams and health professionals to maximize funding

  • Support, lead and mentor staff to ensure consistent and accurate claims

  • Assess residents to ensure they get the appropriate care needs

  • Generate regular reports


In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current AHPRA registration (registered nurse)

  • Proven knowledge in ACFI business rules and processes

  • High level understanding of the ACFI instrument in Residential Aged Care facilities

  • Experience with accreditation standards

  • Flexible with travelling across multiple sites

  • Strong leadership and mentoring experience
