Our client is a global name in the world of high end commercial furniture. They manufacture in a wide range of loose furniture, workstations and accessories that can be seen in many blue chip and prestigious office environments across numerous countries. Due to a recent internal promotion, that are seeking a talented A&D focused national account manager professional from within the commercial interiors market to join their existing and talented sales team


You will undergo an intensive induction into their culture, product, systems, clients & methodology. Introducing yourself to the portfolio, you are encouraged to begin entertaining clients immediately whilst identifying new opportunities. Having a completely customisable range, you will be working indepth with the country's elite Design firms. With a highly successful team exceeding the OTE$150K is inevitable, as is further progression.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Prepare annual business plan, including identification of key A&D firms, target clients aligned with each firm, prioritization of target accounts, and strategies to develop each account, working collaboratively with relevant A&D firm to increase market share and develop stronger business relationships

  • Actively schedules and presents new product and program presentations each quarter to target firms to ensure most up-to-date product knowledge has been communicated

  • Applies working knowledge of A&D community and contacts to influence specifications

  • Develops, coordinates, and hosts sponsored events for A&D community and key clients; includes working evenings and/ or some weekends to represent client in A&D community

  • Hosts engaging speakers in market on relevant industry topics to educate design community

  • Establishes and maintains solid relationships with A&D firms while providing design support to specify products that solve end-user problems and contribute to achievement of region’s sales goals


  • A key / national account management background with experience specifying furniture, workstations or related high end architectural products

  • Strong network of contacts with architects, designers across the country

  • A history of winning large commercial projects

  • Strong Organisational, planning and negotiating skills

  • A polished presenter – articulate and well presented

  • Experienced in tendering for, maintining and gaining specifications

  • Tertiary qualificaton preferred
