Teacher – Mount Martha – Bentons Road

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Teacher to develop programs and practices that are responsive to our children’s needs and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard.

Goodstart Early Learning Mount Martha - Bentons Road is a purpose built centre with state of the art facilities.  We are able to accommodate 120 children aged six weeks to five years through out our five large rooms. 

All team members at Goodstart Mount Martha  - Bentons Road are long term employees, and all currently hold qualifications in Children's Services.  Together we are a very experienced team, who are able to work closely together to provide high quality care on an ongoing basis. 


Your role

  • Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Hold a current First Aid qualification
  • Work in a well resourced centre with 5 rooms, leading a 32 place 3-4 year room
  • Centre is offering a rotating roster
  • Plan innovative and engaging learning experiences
  • Champion positive and meaningful relationships with children.
  • Centre has incursions in place and have excursions in place
  • Full time, permanent role commencing January 2018 (earlier for the right person)  



  • Assess children’s learning and development and apply pedagogical expertise to inform curriculum decisions
  • Maintain and apply expert knowledge of the National Quality Framework
  • Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with families, children and the centre team
  • Model effective application of pedagogy in teaching practice
  • Contribute to a professional and positive work culture
