About the Role
Due to continued growth on our Defence Base Services (DBS) contract, Broadspectrum are seeking to appoint a Systems Project Manager to project manage and coordinate contract activity relating to system enhancements, change management, process documentation, and the ADF’s new Garrison Estate Management System (GEMS).
GEMS is a SAP based management system and will require Broadspectrum’s DBS contract to transition to operating in an integrated environment with the Defence system, with significant impact on current operations and procedural arrangements.
Reporting to the Systems Transition Manager, the Systems Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing many aspects of Broadspectum’s evolution into a GEMS environment and will offer the successful candidate ongoing, permanent tenure. This is not a purely information technology role, but rather a change management and coordination role.
Desired Skills & Experience
The systems transition is likely to progress over a period of up to 18 months, following which there will be a requirement to oversee ongoing GEMS change management and operations.
