As a result of continuous growth, we seek an experienced Supervisor or Assistant Manager looking to take the next step and advance their career within a dynamic, partner-led practice. As a Supervisor/Assistant Manager within our Business Services division, you will be responsible for the following:
•Researching and preparing practical written advice clearly and concisely - presenting solutions on various structuring, taxation, lending and transaction support (M&A) assignments
•Assisting with the practical implementation of advice, in particular, undertaking procedures to implement structuring/restructuring and preparation of financial models
•Advising clients with regard to business process and performance improvement, including benchmarking and assisting clients to set and achieve business goals
•Using industry specific proprietary software tools as well as your solid commercial acumen to deliver real outcomes for clients
•Assisting clients with finance applications, cash flow management and strategic planning initiatives
•Supervising, managing, mentoring and supporting junior and senior accountants, including workflow management and ensuring the practice achieves its quality, financial and people development objectives
•Providing pro-active accounting, taxation, compliance and commercial solutions for our business and high net wealth clientele
•Preparing special purpose financial reports for a wide variety of clients and attending to taxation compliance activities.

You will hold post graduate qualifications as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant and have previous experience in a relevant public practice role. With excellent communication skills, you will be passionate about improving your technical expertise and applying it commercially. You are a highly dependable self-starter who enjoys the ability to work on a variety of assignments. You thrive when contributing to a highly effective and goal-orientated team environment.

This position will be attractive to Assistant Managers looking to progress quickly into a Management role and build on your technical and leadership development. Your progression will be well supported – in addition to a range of opportunities available through our national learning and development programs you will work closely with the Partners / Senior Managers. Your own development will be fast tracked as you demonstrate your ability to manage a team of highly motivated professionals.
