Strategy & Portfolio Manager

Providing practical, sound, honest, profit-driven advice to help individuals and businesses, their expertise produces superior financial outcomes in the areas of compliance, planning, management and performance. Their team of qualified Financial Advisors offer a range of services to include self-managed super funds, investments, savings plans and property to develop a direct investment strategy for their Clients.

With plenty of client referrals, implementation of a strategic expansion program, has now created an opportunity for an experienced Strategy and Portfolio Manager to join the team and continue the firms` growth through 2018 and beyond.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will also be working closely with two other Senior Advisors within the Wealth Management Team, advising clients throughout metropolitan Adelaide and country South Australia.

Specifically, they are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager with:

  • A minimum of Five (5) years experience;
  • Tertiary qualifications in either Finance, Business or Economics or equivalent to Advanced DFP;
  • Experience in the Financial Planning Industry to include client portfolio management – trading equities, managed funds, cash and risk management. Superannuation – SMSF trust documents, cash flow management, and membership forms and rollovers.
  • High level of technical skills to include product research – equities, retail and industry super funds comparisons, managed funds and exchange traded funds.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills to be able to effectively run client meetings - preparing portfolio performance documents and take meeting notes
  • Excellent time management with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A demonstrable history of successfully advising clients and building long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders

You will be a strategic thinker, using your analytical knowledge of markets, data interpretation and the economic outlook to deliver sound investment solutions.
