NAB Health’s market leading team of specialist Bankers work exclusively with businesses and professionals in the healthcare industry across the country, providing comprehensive financial solutions to pharmacy, practitioners, aged care, private hospitals, private health insurance, health supply, community and allied health providers. Our team’s extensive knowledge and experience in the healthcare sector means we understand the opportunities and challenges facing medical professionals, and partner with them to deliver personalised banking and wealth management solutions.

We currently have a senior leader opportunity to join our expanding team. Focusing on the large SME Health Portfolio we are looking for a a Senior Banker with corporate knowledge to support  a significant portfolio of customers with lending in-excess of $120M.  Imparting specialist advice, you will have strong credit and financial analysis skills and actively pursue revenue growth from existing clients as well as seek new to bank opportunities to grow your client portfolio.

With Associate support, you will work as part of a close-knit, supportive and successful team based in leafy Carlton.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing economic value and risk potential of new business by preparing and submitting business lending proposals
  • Pricing, customers and return analysis
  • Maintaining and enhancing the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio
  • Establishing Trade, IRRM and FX facilities and working with clients and specialists for optimum usage of allocated capital (would need to be amended for external ad)
  • Business acquisition and market development through networking
  • Having sophisticated and industry tailored conversations with clients regarding the structuring of the loan portfolio, security pool and future capital requirements
  • Negotiating and setting lending conditions and covenants suites and then over viewing the ongoing monitoring of compliance
