Senior Financial Accountant

Driven by the spirit of bold ambition, my client is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant due to organic growth and acquisitions.


The Senior Financial Accountant will be will be partnering with the Group Finance, and Commercial Finance teams to solve problems and build capability in the business. The key responsibilities in the role are:

  • Provide insights and analysis of monthly results and provide recommendations when appropriate
  • Half year and full year financial results and disclosures and related commentary for the Board and market
  • Monthly consolidated results for the Board
  • Provide hands on day-to-day support to the wider accounting function which may include tasks such as reconciling accounts and credit control
  • Assist the business units in the management of their balance sheet and reconciliations
  • Play a leading role in advising and guiding on financial transaction issues whilst Business Partnering and supporting key stakeholders
  • Assistance in the preparation of schedules for tax, audit and other statutory requirements


  • Tertiary and ideally 5 years+ post CA/CPA qualification
  • Experience in Big4 and/or large corporate environment
  • Excellent influencing skills with the ability to understand & deliver mutually beneficial outcomes which balance commercial, accounting & governance requirements
  • Strong business partnering skills and adept at building positive relationships with stakeholders through delivery on commitments and providing feedback
  • Key contributor in driving continuous improvement in key financial reporting processes

Job Offer
