Senior Financial Accountant

Responsible for leading the Corporate Accounting team driving reporting, compliance and process improvement

As a first choice supplier for many big name brands in the aviation, infrastructure and government industries and due to their strength and positioning within the market, and plans for continued growth and success they are seeking to attract a highly versatile Senior Financial Accountant who will report to and support the National Finance Manager.


Reporting to the National Finance Manager and partnering with senior stakeholders, the Senior Financial Accountant will lead the Corporate Accounting Team in Month-end & Year-end responsibilities, including;

  • Provide insights and analysis of monthly results and provide recommendations when appropriate
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual statutory reporting, as well as being a key liaison for the quarterly review and annual audit
  • Provide hands on day-to-day support to the wider accounting function which may include tasks such as reconciling accounts and credit control
  • Preparation of quarterly covenant calculations, and maintenance of financial transactions, providing guidance and support to key senior stakeholders
  • Assistance in the preparation of schedules for tax, audit and other statutory requirements


  • Finance related degree and CA/CPA qualified
  • Strong technical accounting skills including familiarity with AIFRS and ability to interpret accounting and reporting requirements
  • Excellent influencing skills with the ability to understand & deliver mutually beneficial outcomes which balance commercial, accounting & governance requirements
  • Strong business partnering skills and adept at building positive relationships with stakeholders through delivery on commitments and providing feedback
