Reporting to the GM - Finance, your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Collate and prepare group ASX year-end schedules liaising with auditors
  • Preparation of group impairment assessments
  • Assist in the preparation of Audit Committee reports and analysis
  • Review of ASX financial statements, press leases and other requirements
  • Prepare technical accounting papers on key issues/ transactions and provide ad-hoc advice
  • Analyse new and amended IFRS standards and impact on business
  • Lead projects on technical discussions and team learning
  • Provide regular technical updates and assist peers with technical research
  • Drive change and deliver commercial insights to the business


To be considered for this opportunity, you will have a relevant Bachelor degree (Accounting, commerce or related). You will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across all levels within a large complex commercial business. Prior experience in similar role within a multinational / ASX firm is beneficial but not necessary. You would need to be CA/CPA qualified with minimum four years` post qualification experience.

  • Ability to drive change and build strong commercial relationships
  • Solution-focused with excellent IFRS technical accounting knowledge

This is an ideal role for a first move for candidates with a strong Big 4 / mid-tier Audit background (Manager level).
