Senior Commercial Analyst

Description

Reporting to the Commercial Manager the successful candidate will be required to complete the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Partnering with Sales and Operations in the delivery and compliance programs
  • Budgeting and forecasting preparation
  • Analyse, evaluate and report on sales performance and provide commentary to support variance, including price analysis
  • Preparation and analysis of month end revenue results

  • Build and maintain MS Excel models, review existing revenue strategies, and providing insight & recommendations on best practice and future opportunities
  • Analyse and actively participate in stock management

  • Analyse trade performance, with forecast and commentary of key insights
  • Report findings to senior management and key business stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate, timely and effective analysis and reporting
  • Develop partnerships with the Sales and Operations team to gain intimate understanding of the business
  • Value Chain analysis to investigative cost and revenue drivers

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following characteristics and capabilities:

  • Advanced Excel skills and Financial Modelling capability
  • SAP experience would be favourably looked upon
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Numerical agility together with proven analytical and problem solving ability
  • The ability to organise, prioritise and contribute to the team effort of the Business Development unit in a fast paced environment
  • Proven business partnering experience with a range of key business stakeholders
