Senior Business Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our established team, to contribute to the shaping of our next generation platform utlising “best in class” applications, infrastructure and processes. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be extremely visible to the business and critical to the success of the future roadmap. This is an exceptionally exciting role for someone that wants to be part of an innovative industry defining transformation.
You will be heavily involved in a variety of projects concurrently, where you will be able to highlight and utilize your skills and experience in technical and non-technical projects. You will contribute to Discovery Parks ongoing growth through your leadership in overseeing workshops and gathering requirements. You will possess a sound level of experience in defining Customer Journey Maps and User Stories whilst also having traditional business requirements recording and document writing experience.
The key responsibilities of the role consist of:
- Contributing to the sprint planning / project planning and road mapping sessions
- Leading the solution design and process design workshops
- Working with vendors and consultants to ensure that Discovery Parks is receiving great value
- Assisting with the preparation of business cases and project evaluation activities
- Supporting the design, development and delivery of the change management plan
- Assisting in the development of best practice IT Business Analysis capability
A key requirement is exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, together with an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. A strong ability to establish and maintain solid relationships is essential as is a flexible and adaptable approach to a rapidly evolving business.
A relevant tertiary qualification is essential and previous experience in tourism, hospitality and/or real-time digital systems will be highly regarded.
