Your new role
This role will consist of 50% logistics and 50% procurement. You will be in charge of what needs to be purchased and when. You will monitor estimated dates of arrival for products, review current stock on hand and source forecasts from sales reps. You will also perform some strategic duties within this role dealing with new suppliers and negotiating costs with them.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience within procurement/logistics both operational and strategic. It is essential that you have negotiated with suppliers and hold great communication skills to represent the company within this role. It is desirable that you come from a construction, industrial or civil engineering background in order to succeed in this position.
