A prominent State Government department is seeking a confident Policy Manager to join their organisation to lead the team in the Government Relations branch.
Your new role
In your new role you'll be responsible for managing and strategically leading the team on their day to day duties. You will provide high quality advice on cabinet submissions and cabinet requirements to Ministers and the cluster.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have previous experience at management level in order to step straight into the team. You will have a broad policy experience as well as exposure to the Cabinet process. You will be able to manage tight deadlines and make quick decisions. Experience in social policy would be beneficial.
What you'll get in return
In return you'll lead a team of three to four people for a period of 6 months. An immediate start is on offer.
