Part Time Manager Job for ECT in Not for Profit Centre, Western Sydney


Your new company
Be part of a well-established not for profit organisation who have operated in western Sydney for over twenty years. This organisation underpins a wide range of services including health, youth and family facilities and are proud of their strong relationships with the community. They are now looking for a compassionate and dedicated Centre Director to lead their 39 place community centre in the Fairfield area.


Your new role
As ECT Director you will work collaboratively with your team to create a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for children that celebrates cultural diversity. During your 4 days within the centre you will also be supporting your team on the floor, which will allow you to form excellent relationships with children in your care and model high quality practice.


You will use your compassionate nature and excellent understanding of the EYLF to mentor staff and create a positive team culture. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the centre including enrollments and budgets.


In this role you will be supported by a dedicated CEO and be part of a Senior Management Team within the organisation. In this role you will be required to drive locally to attend regular meetings and will use your personable nature to form great relationships with families and the wider community


What you'll need to succeed



  • Compassion and drive to develop a centre

  • ACECQA assessed ECT bachelor degree qualification

  • Excellent knowledge of the NQS and EYLF

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills

  • Fantastic communication skills and ability to form relationships with staff and families
