The Opportunity.
  
Employsure is Australia's leading specialist in workplace relations. With over 16,000 small business clients, we are changing the way businesses look at their workplace relations. This role is a new position at Employsure and a testament to our growth, allowing us to constantly create new and exciting roles.
  
You will be highly driven by process improvement and seeking it out across multiple facets of the business. As a key member of the Finance team, one of your objectives will be to assess our process from point of sale through the invoicing stage and seeing how we can make this process better.
  
Speaking with multiple departments means that you will be a people person and enjoy understanding how their team contributes to the success of our business. This understanding will help you to identify areas for improvement and assess current practices.
  
  
Key accountabilities.
  
  • Provide support to the business with the continuous improvement of Finance systems.
  • Establishment and maintenance of finance structures, systems, processes, including cost controls
  • Identify system and process improvement opportunities
  • Carry out project work to leverage existing systems to extract maximum value and implement new functionality
  • Documentation of current processes, gaps and countermeasures that will need to be developed for a systematic approach to improving efficiency across the function as well as improving accuracy
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders in support of finance & accounting system solutions
  
  
  
The right person will have:
  
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • ability to communicate effectively and develop sound working relationships
  • advanced Excel skills
  • excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, work autonomously and also within a team environment
  • self-motivated individual with initiative, self-reliance, perseverance, sense of responsibility, a 'can do' attitude and problem solving skills
  • CA or CPA preferred
  • Salesforce experience highly regarded
