This venue is going from strength to strength since it opened and has certainly cornered the market for healthy contemporary European food in the Eastern suburbs. Run by a popular local Sydney operator and a chef who`s worked in some quality Sydney institutions, Cafe Sydney et al.
This is a manager`s role that requires a warm personality, someone who can feel at home within a family owned business. A chance to work closely with the owner, collaborating ideas and displaying restaurant acumen will be integral. Currently only operating breakfasts and lunches the business has plans to open at night, so a person who can implement changes and oversee this transition.
This would suit a manager who understands the industry - big picture wise, but also has a hands-on approach. Ideally you`ll be someone with a background in similar quality venues, who strives for attention to detail while maintaining a sense of fun. This is a role that requires someone who can look at the business holistically and be equally comfortable with the BOH finances as the operational side.
You`ll be required to work around 45-50 hours a week, with the potential to shape your own roster, days shifts only to start before working a mix of days and night shifts once the evenings are up and running.
