HR Manager job in Sydney for Retail Brand with 1000+ workforce. Retail or Fashion Retail needed.

Your new company
Well established Australian Retail brand with 1000+ employees across the country, is experiencing significant growth and expansion. This is a rare leadership position, to design and deliver HR process and people strategies aligned with a growing workforce.

Your new role
Reporting to the MD, you will lead a small and high energy HR team, managing and developing all people and culture programs for the business, as well as overseeing the BAU operational HR processes. You will be responsible for recruitment and talent management strategies for all stores and brands nationally, including workforce and succession planning for current and new store openings. You will design and deliver performance management frameworks, employee engagement and reward & recognition initiatives. In addition you will ensure you all day to day HR policies and processes are adhered to by the managers and wider business including WHS, appraisals and performance reviews, remuneration and benefits and all training activities. You will be the subject matter expert for ER and IR issues, and coach managers through performance management conversations and workplace investigations.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will be an experienced HR Manager or Head of HR for a medium sized retail brand, ideally fashion, accessories, beauty or similar luxury or design products. You will have lead a small team and have experience of working with the senior leadership team including GMs, MDs and/or CEO of the business. This is a very hands on role, and the idea candidate will be equally passionate about operational HR work and day to day coaching, as well as strategic people projects.
