Two permanent roles for Freight Customer Service Specialist roles located within the Botany area- working for a globally known company.

Client Details

Our client is an internationally acclaimed company offering one of the largest supply chain solutions to its clients. With a strong hold in the freight forwarding industry, the company’s customer service and distribution centre in central to the success of the business. Due to the high level of orders and shipments, they are seeking the assistance of a customer service representative to support and enhance this process.


The key responsibilities of the Freight Customer Service Specialist roles will include, but not be limited to;

  • Processing, tracking and co-coordinating orders/shipments
  • Address customer enquiries and responding to complaints within 24 hours via phone and email;
  • Manage changes in supply chain in an effective and efficient manner;
  • Work effectively and efficiently in a team-based environment
  • Support the customer service team.


As an integral part of the customer service team, this demanding and rewarding role requires you to present yourself in a professional manner and adhere to our clients policies. Furthermore, the successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Possess an excellent phone manner, along with excellent written and communication skills;
  • Experience with processing orders using EDI systems;
  • At least 1 years customer service experience and experience in Freight forwarding will be very desirable;
  • Ability to communicate any issues relating to the timely delivery of goods to clients;
