Fitter Machinist - Botany

Programmed Industrial Maintenance delivers integrated maintenance, engineering and construction services to blue chip clients in key commercial, industrial and mining sectors across the region and Australia wide.

Programmed are currently seeking qualified and experienced Fitters with previous shutdown and or site experience from within the last 12 months to join our team in Botany.

Successful applicants will have previous experience working with gearboxes, pumps and conveyors. Candidates with previous ongoing maintenance experience (preventative and breakdown) will be highly regarded and are encouraged to apply.

Key deliverables of the role include:

  • Attend to plant breakdowns, analyse and troubleshoot faults
  • Execute planned maintenance schedules
  • Analyse faults and actively engage in initiatives to improve plant reliability
  • Conduct major overhauls of plant at determined intervals
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed in a professional manner

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Craftsman Certificate as a Fitter or Fitter Machinist
  • Exposure to heavy industrial equipment
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • High Risk Work Licence (LF,WP) preferred
  • Working safely at heights and confined space preferred
  • An enthusiastic attitude and dedication to doing the job safe
