The Role

We currently have a great opportunity for an Enterprise Architect to help us enable business strategy with technology.

You will be working with our cohort of very smart architects (Solution, Platform, Data and Security Architects) and Practice Managers to guide the technology direction for the bank.

Participating in Portfolio governance, you will drive implementation of solutions across architectural alignment solution designs and business priorities.

What’s more, you’ll add value to business planning by defining, estimating and sequencing change initiatives that are vital to delivering great business outcomes.

How will you do this?

  • Operate at the Exec and senior leadership level to drive major business initiatives through the bank from concept to delivery, finding creative solutions to complex and widely varying problems
  • Challenge the status quo for the prioritisation of new initiatives, identifying opportunities to bring forward delivery of value to customers, or reduce waste across the bank
  • Apply breadth of technology and business knowledge to guide the selection of vendors for the successful delivery of technology components and services

Minimum Role Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in broad technology leadership, developing strategies to deliver business value through planning/implementation of change programs
  • Multiple examples of executing business strategic plans by aligning technology strategy on an enterprise scale
  • Leadership experience in the retail financial services industry with practical experience as it relates to product development, distribution, finance, risk, audit, compliance and regulators
  • Extensive understanding of the IT&T industry, as well as technology trends, innovations and related practices
  • Proven experience working with senior business stakeholders at Board, Executive, General and Management levels to achieve successful business outcomes through the planning and delivery of change
