A 2nd or 3rd Year Machinist Apprentice is required for a company located in Silverwater that is accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 by NATA, Australia.
This company comprises a highly professional team of qualified Metallurgists, Engineers, Engineering Technologists, Inspectors, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) personnel. The combination of these professionals from different speciality areas ensures that clients benefit by implementation of the most cost effective inspection regime that will comply with the regulatory requirements and provide fitness for purpose data.
To succeed in this role, you should be safety focused, action oriented, innovative, possess strong problem solving skills and be able to demonstrate you work collaboratively as a key member of a service team.
You must be committed to the apprenticeship; in return you will receive award rates for an apprentice, with all your training costs and protective clothing provided.
To be eligible you must not hold a recognised Trade Certificate or Tertiary qualification. Public transport is available.
