Centre Director job in brand new centre in Sydney's Inner West. Fantastic Opportunity

Your new company
An exciting opportunity is available for an ECT qualified Centre Director to join and lead a brand new centre in Sydney’s Inner West. The centre is purpose built with fantastic resources and facilities, with the children’s needs at the heart of the design. The centre itself has high ceilings and lots of natural light, as well as a natural outdoor space, allowing children to fully engage with nature and their environment. The centre is linked to one other centre, so you will have the opportunity to network with another Director, as well as support from a highly experienced Area Manager.

The organisation has a very child focused philosophy and offer many additional benefits to their families free of charge, including French and Music lessons.

Your new role
As Director in this brand new centre your role will be to oversee the set up and development of the educational program, as well as a strong collaborative team culture. You will have support from an experienced Assistant Director, as well as a part time administrator to support with office duties. You will be looking to establish a strong reputation in the local community through excellent service to families and setting a high standard of education and care. This will be a non-teaching role, so you can focus on developing relationships with children and families, as well as supporting your educators through training and development.

What you'll need to succeed
Your responsibilities will include setting the standard of the centre, focusing on high quality care and education for children and families. You will use your excellent knowledge of the EYLF to mentor and train your educators, ensuring a full understanding of the NQS and programming. You will also be focused on developing the reputation of the service in the local community, so you will have knowledge and experience of increasing centre occupancy through open days and networking. You must be looking to work in a forward thinking service, with a commitment to research and development.

To apply for this role you must hold an ACECQA assessed ECT qualification and have previous experience as a Centre Director.

What you'll get in return
In return successful applicants will receive fantastic mentoring from a highly experienced Area Manager, who has a background in training and can support you and your staff in professional development, as well as your sister centre’s Director who can provide peer support. You will also receive an above award salary, as well as bonuses for centre occupancy and A&R score. You will also have the opportunity to be part of a developing centre and make a huge impact on the culture, philosophy and standard of care. You will also be working with a highly dedicated team that puts the needs of the children and families above all else.
