Located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs is this Not For Profit organisation with a reputation for being one of Australia’s most loved charities.

A rewarding opportunity has become available to join this inspiring team of dedicated staff at the Randwick House to head their Fundraising efforts.

THE ROLE:

As the Development and Relationships Manager reporting directly to the Executive Officer, you will lead and take ownership of all fundraising activities for the Randwick House through organising corporate events, building relationships with new and major donors and engaging with the media.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To increase fundraising efforts through coordination, development and implementation initiatives
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including board members, corporate decision makers and the wider community
  • Engage with the media in a confident and effective manner
  • Setting up and monitoring the fundraising strategy and budget
  • Provide support for the development of new fundraising procedures and methodology
  • Drive improvement initiatives for efficient planning and implementation strategies
  • Attend meetings and training as required, as well as any ad-hoc projects as requested by management

EXPERIENCE:

The successful candidate will ideally come from the NFP sector or a similar client facing role. Other essential skills and experience include:

  • Managerial and Leadership experience – this role is supported by 2 direct reports
  • High interpersonal skills including public speaking and ability to develop and maintain relationships across a broad range of stakeholders and the media
  • Solid administrative skills, including financial reporting
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment juggling multiple tasks and issues
  • A National Criminal Record Check and working With Children Check will be completed upon appointment.
