With approximately 200 professional, technical andengineering staff based in 10 offices across Australia, we are nowseeking to appoint a Consultant to join our Property Risk teambased in Kew East!

This role will see you responsible for project management andaccount management while also conducting asbestos risk assessmentaudits and asbestos abatement monitoring. Reporting to the TeamManager and supported by a team of high performing experts yourspecific responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring assigned projects to ensure they meet defined project objectives and regularly communicate with key stakeholders
  • Drafting reports and recommend asbestos risk mitigation and management strategies as well as draft Asbestos Management Plans
  • Developing and maintaining asbestos registers coupled with supervising asbestos remediation programs
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and provide advice internally and externally
  • Providing appropriate and relevant information to Business Unit Managers who are responsible for completing the report
  • Contributing to the regions pipeline of business opportunities that will ensure revenue targets are achieved

As the standout candidate you will possess proven asbestosmanagement experience along with an understanding of WH&S,consulting and risk management. The ability to develop, maintainand strengthen business partnerships as well as work cooperativelyand collaboratively with others to achieve collective goals isessential in your success. You have strong project management andaccount management experience along with excellent commercialacumen and effective time management skills. Tertiary qualificationin either Building and Construction, Work Health and Safety orsimilar, together with extensive experience within the industrywill be highly regarded.

As this role requires flexibility occasionally working incountry locations and limited weekend work, a full driver’slicence with own reliable vehicle and the ability to drive a manualvehicle is also essential.
