Casual Learn to Swim Teacher


Griffith Aquatic and Fitness Centre are seeking experienced Learn to Swim Teachers (LTS) to join our Team, we offer excellent working conditions and looking for mature people who are enthusiastic, reliable, committed and have a passion for teaching infant and pre-schoolers.

A variety of shifts during the week are available along with Saturday and Sunday mornings. Our LTS Instructors work morning shifts from 9:00am to 11.00am and afternoon shifts are from 3.30pm to 5:30pm. Minimum 15 hours per week with guaranteed hours available for the right person.

The person:

To be eligible for this opportunity you will hold the following required qualifications:

  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certificate or Swim Australia Teacher

  • Current CPR certificate;

  • Positive and current Blue Card;

  • Excellence in customer service, along with well-developed communication skills.

Desirable qualifications and experience:

  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics, or willing to obtain

  • Previous experience as a Learn to Swim Teacher;

  • Swim Australia and/or AUSTSWIM extension certificates.

Salary range:

Salary based on skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications.
