Your new company
This international retail company are seeking an organised and driven Buyers Administrator to support their Merchandising and Buying team. If you have an interest in Retail and are looking to progress your career in Buying, then this is the role for you. Due to internal promotions, lots of new opportunities have come up in this organisation


Your new role
As a Buyers Admin Assistant you will provide administration support to the buying team. Duties will include:



  • Act as point of contact in between suppliers and buyers

  • Maintain buyers schedule using Outlook and creating itineraries

  • Use Excel to generate reports weekly, data entry and utilise spreadsheets

  • Attend meetings with buyers and take minutes

  • Filing, post, expenses, general administration

  • Control samples by ensuring space is utilised effectively and samples are sent out in a timely manner

  • Daily use of Excel and PowerPoint




What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have an administration background and show high attention to detail and strong organisational skills. A background or an interest in retail buying is preferred, and degree qualified candidates are encouraged to apply as the career prospects are endless. You will be confident using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

There is an opportunity to travel to Melbourne and overseas, often to Asia and USA for trade shows and with buyers. A salary of up to $52,000 + super is on offer. Working hours 9-5pm.
