Assistant Trade Store Manager

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of one of the company`s trade stores in the manager`s absence. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the management and development of stores and personnel in accordance with the company`s strategic plans, operating budgets, procedures and policies. You will continue to mentor staff and implement systems to ensure the company`s distribution and sales functions are managed successfully in a busy trade sales environment.

  • Trade store experience, preferably in building and construction industry
  • Strategic thinker, personal drive and results driven
  • Strong problem solving and negotiating skills supported by superior written and oral presentation skills

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Trade qualified in plastering or a similar trade
  • Experience in the residential building industry
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Sound relationship development skills at customer and corporate levels with keen customer service focus on excellence of delivery
