Accounts Payable Officer

Hamilton Island Enterprises has an opportunity for a Part Time Accounts Payable Officer based in our office in St Leonards.

About the Role

  • Part time position based on 24 hours/week

  • Process incoming invoices accurately and in accordance with deadlines

  • Process payment runs 

  • Match invoices to purchase orders

  • Respond to all internal and external enquiries in a prompt and courteous manner

  • Completing cheque, EFT, BPay and foreign currency payments

  • Maintain an accurate and systematic filing system 

About You

  • High School Certificate or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable experience 

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles

  • Basic understanding of computer packages, particularly Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Finance One desirable

  • Previous hospitality experience desirable
