This specialist manufacturing client is highly successful and well regarded in their field. With an Adelaide base of operations and an international client base, this is a dynamic and fast paced organisation with impressive growth plans. Due to the departure of their long term Finance Manager, they are now seeking an experienced Accountant to take ownership of their Accounts Department and provide comprehensive support to the business.
Your new role
You’ll report to the Director of the business and will oversee an established Accounts Officer. Your responsibilities will include:
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll ideally have worked with an Adelaide based manufacturing business with international presence. You’ll have demonstrable experience taking ownership of the accounts function with the ability to undertake transactional tasks as well as more complex reporting and reconciliation. You’ll be capable of working independently with minimal direction and be capable of providing direction to other Managers as appropriate. Being able to commence immediately would be highly beneficial but the focus will be on finding the right person who will commit to the business long term.
What you'll get in return
You’ll work with a very supportive external Accountant and will have a very varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll have support internally from your Accounts Officer but will maintain your end to end experience. This is offered no a full time basis and is based in the Western Suburbs.
