The Mass Prepaid division of the business is the segment of the Optus business that distributes Optus Prepaid to the Mass and General Route markets consisting of over 20,000 outlets. This division of the business undertakes the execution of the dissemination of Optus Prepaid SIM cards, Optus Prepaid Recharge vouchers and PINS, Optus Prepaid handsets and Optus Prepaid Mobile Broadband devices and Optus Prepaid Mobile SIMS. The Mass Prepaid Telesales centre is responsible for processing all orders submitted from telephone, website, CRM and ensuring they are delivered within service levels along with resolving or directing any query or request actioned from both sales teams and store base.
The Account Executive for Super & DDS manages the performance, relationship and daily dealings with the emerging customers within this overall channel. These customers will include Metcash, Amazon, Costco, Aldi and Kaufland. The AE is responsible for the implementation of strategies to enhance the growth and revenue within these channels, whilst maintaining a working relationship with key people at both the customer and internally. The AE will also need to understand the role of the Operations Support and be able to take ownership of these tasks when required. It will be expected that the AE also provides in depth analysis to develop category management strategies across all accounts within Supers and DDS. This will require strong understanding of category growth drivers by utilising data. Strong analytical skills and use of data sources such as IRI, Nielsen, Quantium and GFK is imperative. The AE will also manage and deliver the monthly briefing process with retail safari and product.
This position will work closely with the National Account Executives in all areas of channel management to drive the best possible opportunity for the channel to exceed their targets. This position is also required to work closely with the 3rd party field sales team (Retail Safari) to drive store compliance and execution of head office driven initiatives. They will partner with the channel marketing team to ensure the consumer message is delivered.
